The Garden Body: A Florilegium
A blossom is a throat.
Sylvia Legris
This reminds me of the Non quote, “and the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” There is risk in speaking our piece. We wither when we are silent. Our voice is our blossom. We are meant to share our beauty with the world through our voice.
It is about full-throated living — a big and outside the lines life centered on kindness and compassion for ourselves and one another. Life where symmetry and center are as perfect as a bud. Life where unfolding is both surprising and understood. Life where growth is about oneness and awe.
This is what I know for sure. We are called to blossom. We are called to risk and fail and risk and fail and risk and figure it out. We are called to sing with our entire being. We are called to create and build and love.
