Amor Fati
Inside every world there is another world trying to get out,/ and there is something in you that would like to discount this world./ The stars could rise in darkness over heartbreaking coasts,/ and you would not know if you were ruining your life or beginning a real one.
Sandra Lim, Amor Fati
I live between the world and the world trying to get out. Let me explain. I am a seeker, creator, curator, and believer. My monkey mind chatters and my bowl is often too full to make sense of it all. I feel everything with the heat of a thousands suns. That fire is the world trying to get out — the soul’s volcano. Puss and lava. Scar tissue and stars. The heights and depths and all the in between. The liminal space of the I am not yet.
There is a thin line between ruining and beginning. The line is a question of perspective and timing, awareness and context, courage and resolve, of softness and light. Perhaps fate is the line between ruining and beginning. Perhaps that line is what we are asked to embrace as we navigate between the world and the world trying to get out.
